History

       In the early 1980’s, Kuwait airways identified a need for separate company to undertake many of its ground handling functions. in addition, the provision of a flight kitchen operating to first class international standards at Kuwait International Airport was seen as essential for the future growth of the airport.

       Kuwait Airways therefore established in 1981 a wholly owned subsidiary kuwait aviation services company (kasco) - to meet these needs.

       The kitchen established by kasco was only the first brick that has grown bit by bit into such a huge company designed especially to meet the needs of its customers. today, after twenty years of operation, In addition to its flight kitchen, kasco is operating kuwait international airport’s restaurants and cafeterias, supervising the first class and business class lounges, overseeing v.v.i.p. services, and managing the food and beverage operation of the airport transit hotel.

       The cafeteria and restaurant sector, which is an important part of the supply department provides its services at several vital locations relying on an administratively and professionally integrated work team, since this sector is more involved with the local market, all its  utlets had been furnished with the most advanced decorations and equipment to ensure the most ideal and smooth running of the business supported by the most efficient work team for both the kitchen and client services, below is a list of the locations where the services of this sector are provided:

    have taken place in kuwait. in 1987, for example, kasco supplied kuwait hosted islamic conference with approximately 250,000 meals.
    in addition, kasco has supplied extensive food services to the GCC conferences held in kuwait in 1986 and 1992.
